Thanks to everyone who took part in last night’s SOLD-OUT event!
It was a great way to start our 2021 virtual wine dinner series. And it was wonderful to see so many old friends and make so many new ones.
Next week, on Thursday, January 21, we’ll be hosting Count Stefano Cinelli Colombini whose family’s Fattoria dei Barbi estate was one of the original producers of Brunello di Montalcino.
Stefano’s ancestor, the Blessed John Colombini (no joke, they actually have a saint in the family!), is believed to have invented the classic Tuscan dish panzanella.
Stefano will be talking to us about his family’s legacy and his new book on the history of Brunello as we taste his Morellino di Scansano, Brusco dei Barbi (Super Tuscan), and Rosso di Montalcino (all red wines).
Stay tuned for menu and details!
