We have a very special treat lined up for this week’s virtual wine dinner: Luigi Coppo, who has been featured previously in the series, has made one of his top and most highly rated wines, the Barbera d’Asti Pomorosso, available for our event.

We generally aren’t able to offer premium wines at these dinners (because of prohibitive pricing, as you can imagine). But Luigi, who is a wonderful friend, very graciously made it available exclusively for our dinner.

See all the wines and menu below (Chef Angelo, you had us at Watermelon Gazpacho paired with Gavi!!!).

Because only a limited amount of wine was allocated for the Thursday dinner, we only have spots for 33 couples. So please do reserve at your earliest convenience.

Some of you may remember that Luigi, who speaks English well, is an engaging speaker who loves to get into the geekery of wine. We’re so happy to have him back and we couldn’t be more thrilled to share his Pomorosso with you. It’s an icon of Italian viticulture. And it’s 1,000 percent delicious!

Thank you for your continued support. These dinners wouldn’t be possible without all the fantastic tasters we have each week on these calls. We — all of us at the restaurant, from the dishwasher down the line — really appreciate it.
