He will be pouring one of our favorite Amarones at the tasting and he’ll be pouring and chatting tableside with guests all night.

Jeremy Parzen has been writing about Italian wine, food, and culture for more than 20 years. He first began working in the Italian wine trade in New York in 2005 where he worked for Italian Wine Merchants and the Trulli restaurant group. From 2010 until 2017, he was the wine director for the Rossoblu group in Los Angeles where his program was called “one of the best places for Italian wine in LA” by Los Angeles magazine. Not only is Jeremy a widely recognized Italian wine expert. He is also an instructor of wine and food communications in the graduate program at the Slow Food University of Gastronomic Sciences in Piedmont, Italy. “Our goal,” says Jeremy of the new wine list at Roma, “is to make the restaurant the number one destination for Italian wine in Texas by year’s end.” He is also the author of the popular (mostly Italian) wine blog Do Bianchi. Jeremy lives with his wife Tracie, a realtor, their two daughters, and their two Chihuahuas in Meyerland.
